The difference between orthodontics and Prosthodontics is itself specifies in the names that orthodontics is a branch of dentistry  that deals with the teeth and which resembles that what sort of science is present in the field. So Prostho means false part which specifies the study of false teeth refers to Prosthodontics. Ortho means straight teeth. This is really minor because the ending ‘’ic’’ refers to the disease so that is why it is named as straight teeth disease but the real name is orthodontia. The orthodontics mainly consists of three branches such as interceptive, corrective, and surgical. Periodontics is the branch that tells about your gums and internal structures around the teeth. They are personally concerned about your that is right from scaling, polishing, correcting the line of the teeth they do it all .The prosthodontics is the branch of dentistry that focuses on dental prostheses. It is considered as one of 10 specialities among different fields of dentistry .It is used to replace the new tooth in the place of lost tooth by using substituents that which are made from carved blocks of ivory or bone. Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that deals with the misalignments in arranging teeth across jaws the advantage of this treatment is which includes the healthier mouth and pleasing appearance among  these in orthodontia there are also other branches such as

Exo-dontia- which is related to the study of removing teeth

Radio-don tics-which is related to the study of radiotherapy for teeth

Periodontics-which is related to the study of children’s teeth
